jimcollier > Yet again, SJ managed to find the single plant that managed to produce a flower at this time of year. In this case, a purple ice plant flower (gray in infrared). How does she do it? There is not a single visible flower anywhere! Maybe the bee that stung her recently, gave her special bee superpowers or something.

jimcollier > This area of Pt. Reyes is some kind of huge wash basin, probably formed from winter storms. It is 0.33 miles long from one end to the water, sloped towards the ocean, completely void of plants along the entire center, and very very even along the bottom. The girls have a blast playing on it. It is one huge, open, desolate playground.
